Terms of Service

The terms on which Homoeoclinics Pvt Ltd provides practice-management software to doctors and clinics, treatment access to their patients, and the classical study library to scholars. The binding version for your own account type is the one you accept when you register, inside the app.

What the service is — and is not

Homoeoclinics is a technology and practice-management platform: patient records, prescriptions with patient-facing labels, appointments, reminders, announcements, a published clinic page, and a classical reference library (materia medica, repertories and philosophy), provided as a subscription service.

It is not a medical practitioner. It does not examine patients, does not diagnose, and does not prescribe. Repertory and materia medica suggestions are derived from public-domain classical texts and are clinical reference only — they are never a recommendation to prescribe, and they are always shown as a list for a qualified practitioner to review, verify and select. Adding a suggested medicine to a prescription is an explicit action by the doctor, who must review every prescription before issuing it.

Doctors and clinics

  • You must hold a valid professional registration, practise only within your lawful scope, and keep your registration, clinic and contact information accurate and current.
  • You alone are responsible for all diagnoses, clinical assessments, remedy selection, potency, dose, instructions, follow-up decisions, adverse-reaction handling, emergency advice, medicine labelling and dispensing, patient consent and clinical records — and for verifying all algorithmic output before it reaches a patient.
  • Your clinic's data belongs to your clinic. We process it to provide the service and as described in the Privacy Policy. On termination you may export your clinic data where the product provides export.
  • Subscription fees, billing period and renewal follow the plan you select. Non-payment pauses creation of new billable records after a grace period — it never deletes your clinical records, and read access remains, so continuity of care for existing patients is never interrupted by billing status.
  • You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and any communication channel your clinic connects.

Patients

The app is how your clinic shares your treatment with you: appointments, prescriptions shown with the labels your doctor chose, reminders, and messages from your clinic. Your doctor — not the platform — is responsible for your care, and the platform gives no medical advice. The app is not for emergencies: for urgent medical situations contact emergency services or visit the nearest hospital.

Scholars

A scholar account is a reading account: public-domain classical literature plus your own private highlights and notes. It does not make you a registered medical practitioner and does not authorise you to diagnose, prescribe or treat anyone, and you may not use it to provide treatment or hold yourself out as qualified to do so. A registered practitioner who wants to treat patients through the platform applies for a doctor account, where registration is checked before anything clinical is enabled. Scholar subscriptions are separate from, and priced differently to, doctor subscriptions.

Billing

Plans, prices and any introductory offer are stated on the pricing section and at checkout; the amount charged is always the server's own price for the plan you select. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Either party may terminate as permitted by law.

Feedback and product improvement

If you send us feedback — a bug report, a feature request, a correction, or any other suggestion — you agree that we may use it, without obligation, to operate and improve the product, including building features based on it; that we owe you no fee, credit or attribution for doing so; and that anything we build from it (the feature, the code, the design and related intellectual property) belongs to us. You keep the right to use your own idea elsewhere — we claim only what we build. Do not send us anything you are not free to share, and never include patient-identifying information in feedback: describe the problem, not the person.

Our responsibility

We remain responsible for our own security failures, unauthorised processing caused by the platform, fraud, intentional misconduct, and incorrect operation of the platform within our control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded. The platform does not guarantee clinical outcomes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Grievances go first to our Grievance Officer — grievance@homoeoclinics.com — as described in the Privacy Policy.
